About Rabindra University
Rabindra University is a public university of Bangladesh. It is located in Shahjadpur Upazila of Sirajganj. The program was started in this university with 105 students in 3 divisions in the year 2017-2016. On 8 May, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of the university. After the name of Rabindranath Tagore, the university has renamed the university.
Rabindra University Admission Date & Time
- Online Application submission: 01 November 2023 to 25 November 2023.
- Admission tests will be held on 8th December 2023.
- Rabindra University admission test result will publish between 10th December 2023 to 15th December 2023.
Rabindra University admission requirements
Requirements for Humanities Group:
- A candidate must pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination in any group.
- Candidates of the humanities group must have a total GPA of 6.00 in SSc/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examination.
Requirements for Business Studies Group:
- A candidate must pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination in any group.
- Candidates of the Business group must have a total GPA of 6.00 in SSc/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examination.
Requirements for Science Group:
- A candidate must pass SSC/equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination in any group.
- Candidates of the Science group must have a total GPA of 6.50 in SSc/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examination.

How to apply for Rabindra University Admission 2020-21
All faculty of the Rabindra University admission will have to apply online for honors the first year season 2020-2121 from 1st November 2023 to 25th November 2023.
How to apply online,
- Application Processing Fee is Taka 1020/= only for Each Faculty.
- First of all, Go to the http://admissoin.rub.ac.bd
- Then fill up the all by your info
- Then you will get an Application ID and Save or Remember this ID.
How to Pay by Rocket
- First of all, Dial *322#
- Dial 1 to select PAYMENT option.
- Dial 1 if this is your account, dial two if this is others account and give the phone number.
- type RUB 570 for biller ID
- Enter APPLICATION ID as BILL NUMBER
- Enter amount
- Enter the PIN of your ROCKET account
- then you will get confirmation SMS on your phone.

There are three faculty and 4 subjects at this university. The Faculties are Arts Faculty, Social Science Faculty and Business Administration Faculty.
Arts Faculty belongs to 2 subjects. they are Rabindra Studies and Cultural Tradition & Bangladesh Studies departments. The remaining two faculty consists of (1+1) two departments. They are Economics in Social Science Faculty and Management Studies in Business Studies Faculty.
