Jnu Admission Eligibility

Jagannath University authorities imposed some conditions for admission in different units. For your convenience, we will mention all the conditions of every unit here. So let us have a look at all the conditions of Jagannath University admission.

UNIT A

  1. The candidates must pass the Higher Secondary level from the Science department. However, the candidates must have the total GPA of at least 8.50 in the SSC and the HSC examinations and must not have GPA below 3.50 separately in both of the examinations.
  2. The applicant must have passed the HSC / Alim / equivalent examination in 2018.

UNIT B

  1. The candidates must pass the Higher Secondary level from the Humanities department. However, the candidates must have the total GPA of at least 8.00 in the SSC and the HSC examinations and must have GPA at least 3.50 separately in both of the examinations.
  2. The applicant must have passed the HSC / Alim / equivalent examination in 2018.

UNIT C

  1. The candidates must pass the Higher Secondary level from the Business Studies department. However, the candidates must have the total GPA of at least 8.50 in the SSC and the HSC examinations and must have GPA at least 3.50 separately in both of the examinations.
  2. The applicants must have passed the HSC / Alim / equivalent examination in 2018.

UNIT D

  1. The candidates from the Science department must have the total GPA of at least 8.00 and must not have GPA below 3.50 in any of the examinations.
  2. The candidates from the Humanities department must have the total GPA of at least 8.00 and must not have GPA below 3.50 in any of the examinations.
  3. The candidates from the Business Studies department must have the total GPA of at least 8.50 and must not have GPA below 3.50 in any of the examinations.
  4. The applicants must have passed the HSC / Alim / equivalent examination in 2018.

UNIT E

  1. Students of any department can apply. However, the condition is that the total combined GPA must be 7.00 in the SSC and HSC examinations and must have GPA at least 3.00 in each of the examinations.
  2. The applicant must have passed the HSC / Alim / equivalent examination in 2018.

Jagannath University Admission Test Date

The admission test of will be held on 29th September to 27th October 2018. The admission test dates of different units are given below.

Jagannath University is the first public university to take such decision following the government’s ban on MCQs from Primary Education Completion to HSC tests amid severe criticism over a spate of question leaks.

JNU Admission seekers were asked to answer 75 MCQs in an hour. Besides, teachers were allowed to hold midterm and class tests with MCQs.

  3. select “bill pay”
  4. type as your Biller ID
  5. type your “Bill Number”
  6. type amount for particular Unit
  7. type your Rocket PIN
  8. you will get a confirmation sms with transaction number.
