HSC Scholarship Result 2022
Like last year, scholarship in the HSC examination will also be awarded this time. But it won’t require any distinct examination. Scholarship will be awarded to meritorious students depending on their results in the HSC examination. The scholarship will be given in two categories. The first category is the national talent pool and the other category is district wise. The list of the nominated students for the scholarship will be notified on time.
Who will get the HSC Scholarship?
Only those who have passed the HSC or equivalent examination held in 2023 will be considered for the HSC Scholarship 2023. To select credible candidates for the scholarship, the result of the HSC or equivalent examination will be taken into account. All the education boards will give scholarships to 10,500 students in total. Among them, 1,125 students will get the scholarship in talent pool while the other 9,375 will get general scholarship.
Please note that:
- In the talent pool, 1,125 students in total will get a scholarship.
- In district wise general scholarship, 9,375 students will get a scholarship.
Scholarship in the talent pool
The most meritorious students are going to get a scholarship in the talent pool. The top 1,125 students in the HSC examination will be awarded in this category. While preparing the merit list, total number, GPA, number in science-related subjects will be taken into consideration.
General Scholarship
General scholarship will be given on the district-wise quota. Every district and Upazilla will have their fixed number of quotas reserved. Only the top meritorious students of the corresponding district will get the scholarship in this category.
When HSC Scholarship 2022 will be published?
It has not been decided yet when the list of the selected students of the HSC Scholarship Result will be published. However, it is expected the result of the HSC examination will be published in November or December. The result will be found on the website of each board of education. Allowance will be provided to the selected students.

Amount of money will get students
The students awarded with scholarships will get monthly and annual allowance. The amount of the allowance will vary in the talent pool and general category.
- In the talent pool, students will get a monthly allowance of 825 Taka and another 1,800 Taka once a year.
- In the general category, students will get a monthly allowance of 375 Taka and another 750 Taka once a year.
- This allowance will be given up to 2 years.
